Empowerment for Parents

Knowledge and understanding of early brain development empowers parents to provide informed care for children. Informed care shapes the architecture of the developing brain and lays the foundations for a lifetime of sound mental health.

Empowerment for Parents is a three-hour presentation open to parents and caregivers of children age 0-5 years which supports parent-child connections and healthy brain development through knowledge and understanding.

Participants will gain an understanding of:
  • infant brain development and why it’s so important
  • where their child’s brain development is at different ages
  • how to support healthy brain development for education and social and emotional well-being
  • attachment and how this impacts on their child’s development
How to get involved:

Empowerment for Parents is available for organizations upon request.  Individuals can attend one of four presentations per year.  This workshop costs $15.00 per person however if you find the cost challenging, please contact us, we may be able to help cover it.
