Circle of Security (Connection)

Our Circle of Security group is a group that helps parents better understand their children’s emotions and deepen their understanding of the attachment and security needs of their children.

Attachment is what happens when there are strong emotional bonds formed and nurtured between you and your child.  Simply put, it is what happens when a child learns you are available and responsive to them and they can grow, explore and feel secure.

What can I expect from this group?

This group helps parents and caregivers understand their child’s emotions needs to be able to better support their child’s ability to successfully manage their emotions and challenging behaviours. Parents and caregivers will gain confidence as they learn with other parents who are also on their own parenting journey.

Who is this group for?

This group is best suited for parents and caregivers with children ages 0-6. It’s important to attend all sessions as they build on each other and there is a certificate given out if you attend all eight sessions.
