Engaging Vulnerable Persons

Please join us for a workshop presented by Calgary Alpha House Society in community partnership with Carya, where we will focus on:

• Understanding factors that lead to homelessness & addiction.
• Understanding Calgary’s Homeless System of Carya & how Alpha House fits in.
• Challenging The Stigmas associated with homelessness and addiction.
• Learning about philosophies of care, including Housing First and Harm Reduction.
• Recognizing how and when to navigate interactions without unhoused neighbours.
• Learning about free resources available to the community and when to utilize them.
