Art of Kindness is an opportunity for you to get in touch with your creative side, connect with others, and express and explore who you are and how we are connected through visual arts.
We believe everyone is a creative person and has unique ways of expressing themselves so previous experience is not required to participate. You can expect lots of encouragement, fun, acceptance and support in our group as we get our art on together!
This group has a new art project each session that has various prompts related to how we can incorporate kindness into our lives.
What can I expect?
In this group, you’ll explore your relationship with kindness, identify what our barriers to kindness are, and learn skills to embrace and lead a kinder life. While this is a kindness group, you will learn basic expressive art techniques (such as painting and collage) to be able to express yourself through collaborative artistic projects.
Is Art of Kindness for me?
This group welcomes adults (18+) interested in exploring kindness and its positive impact on our lives. It’s also ideal for newcomers to art and are interested in learning the basic fundamental techniques of artistic expression.
