Making Room (Wellbeing)

Our Making Room program is designed for individuals experiencing difficulties with acquiring too much stuff and/or having a difficult time discarding things – this is often described as hoarding.

Please note, this group requires specific criteria in order to be registered. This is not a group for people concerned about others who over-collect or hoard, and this group is not about home organizing or related to programs you may see on television.

Participants will learn:

  • Why we get caught in this pattern of too much stuff
  • Skills to help reduce excessive acquiring
  • Skills to manage worry and distress around discarding
  • Techniques to help organize belongings
