carya is pleased to announce Lisa Stebbins has been appointed as Chief Program Officer.
Lisa has been an important part of the carya team since 2000 and has successfully grown the organization’s work in supporting older adults and developing community initiatives, as well as provided expertise in human resources, policy development, and organizational effectiveness.
This new role will work closely with the CEO to articulate and implement the strategic vision of the agency, oversee a significant portfolio of programs and related services and evaluate the effectiveness and impact of programs.
Bringing our services and programming together under one portfolio is an important and encouraging step in carya’s ongoing growth and will position us to better serve and support all Calgarians.
With a keen interest in policy development, community initiatives and non-profit leadership, Lisa is passionate about social services and ensuring that the sector can adapt to the emerging needs of Albertans. Lisa serves on many steering committees and projects related to the sector and advancing the delivery of innovative social services and is a Reviewer for the Canadian Centre for Accreditation. She has also been appointed as a Public Member to the Council of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta since 2017.
On behalf of all of us at carya, please join us in congratulating Lisa on her new role. We’re excited to work with her to continue to provide critical mental health and social services in our vision of stronger, more connected communities for generations.
We are better together.
