Amanda has been carya’s Administration Superstar for over four years and continues to brighten the days of carya staff, participants and volunteers who meet her in our Downtown Office. Amanda loves to connect with other staff members and says that the collective at carya makes every day a great one.
Amanda has a young daughter who keeps her busy outside of her work. They love to play on their trampoline together and visit the park. When it is bedtime for her little one, Amanda’s favourite thing to do is read. Right now, she is finishing a sci-fi novel titled “To Sleep in a Sea of Stars” by Christopher Paolini. As there are so many offerings at carya, Amanda says it is difficult to choose just one as her favourite. Instead, she says,
“Village Commons is amazing – all the programs and workshops there make such a remarkable impact on those in our community.”
Amanda also mentions her admiration for the variety of people which carya strives to assist and support. carya is incredibly grateful for our Administration Superstar, who always stays positive and lives by the saying, “Go with the flow.”
