Help community members feel supported as they access Carya’s free Tax Clinic. We’re looking for friendly, detail-oriented individuals who can greet clients, receive their tax documents, and ensure everything is ready for our tax filers to complete their work.
Volunteers may select either the morning or afternoon shift and can choose to volunteer on one or more days per week (Monday through Thursday) based on availability.
- Time commitment: One morning or afternoon shift per week (March 2–April 30, 2026)
- Location: Village Commons (#201, 610 8 Ave SE) and Bowmont Commons (5000 Bowness Rd NW)
- Availability: Weekday daytime shifts (Monday–Thursday, 9 am–12:30 pm or 12:30 pm–3:30 pm)
- What you’ll bring: A warm attitude, strong attention to detail, clear communication, and comfort working with diverse community members
- What you’ll gain: Meaningful connections and the satisfaction of helping others access an important, barrier-free service
