Elder Friendly Communities

Older Adults are important members of our community.

We believe that aging does not diminish our worth but amplifies it. It should be a time for growth and self-discovery, not one of limitations.

As we get older, the things we experience can impact our relationships. Our children grow up and move away, we retire, and sometimes we become physically unable to participate in activities we once enjoyed. We transition to our senior years without a clear vision of our purpose.

Elder Friendly Communities celebrates and shares the wisdom that comes with aging by providing opportunities for older adults to actively participate in their communities, connect with others and build a sense of belonging.
