2025 Report To Community

At Carya, we know that life’s challenges are rarely isolated.

Financial stress can affect mental health. Social isolation can impact well-being. Parenting challenges, housing instability, grief, trauma, and many other life circumstances often intersect in complex ways.

That is why Carya’s approach matters.

Under one roof, individuals and families can access a continuum of connected supports designed to meet people where they are without judgment and without unnecessary barriers.

Under One Roof: The Carya Approach

Every person’s story is different, but many challenges are interconnected. Through barrier-free access, early intervention, and wrap-around supports, Carya helps people access the care, tools, and connections they need, all under one roof.

Why Integrated Support Matters

Support is most effective when it reflects the realities of people’s lives. By reducing barriers, responding early, and connecting services across programs, Carya helps individuals and families access support in ways that are more coordinated, compassionate, and easier to navigate.

Barrier-Free Services

When support feels difficult to access, many people delay reaching out until challenges become overwhelming.

Carya’s barrier-free approach helps reduce obstacles to care by offering affordable, accessible, community-based supports where people feel welcomed, not judged.

Early Interventions

The earlier people receive support, the greater the opportunity to prevent challenges from escalating into crisis.

Early intervention strengthens mental wellbeing, family relationships, parenting confidence, and long-term stability before situations become more complex and harder to navigate.

Wrap-Around Supports

People rarely experience challenges in isolation. Mental health, financial instability, housing, grief, social isolation, and many other life circumstances often overlap.

Carya’s wrap-around model connects individuals to coordinated supports across programs and services, reducing the need to navigate systems alone or repeatedly retell their stories.

“It gave me community and support when I needed it desperately, which helped provide a positive foundation for parenting which will impact my child for her whole life. It’s kind of a big deal!”

“Having access to support without the fear of financial strain is crucial, especially when you’re facing such difficult times. Carya is an amazing organization that truly makes a difference.”

Moving Forward for Community

As community needs grow more complex, Carya is continuing to strengthen how people access coordinated, responsive support. Looking ahead, we are focused on improving referral pathways, expanding early intervention, and building more connected systems of care across our community.

Housing Stability Through Connected Supports

Launching in 2026, Home Routes will combine housing access with wrap-around community supports to help individuals and families transition into below-market apartments with dignity and connection.

Strengthening Responsive Referral Pathways

Carya will continue to explore ways to strengthen referral pathways across programs and community partners to create more seamless, coordinated access to care. By improving how services connect under one roof and across the broader community, we can respond earlier, reduce barriers, and better support people with complex needs.

Faster Access to Integrated Care

The Older Adult Triage Accelerator Project will explore how earlier intervention and coordinated assessment can help older adults access the right supports sooner while reducing wait times and improving outcomes.

Help Keep Support Under One Roof

“In a world that feels distraught, where hope seems to be dying out of existence, places like Carya send out a glimmer of hope that is so required right now.”
