12 Days of carya is here, from December 1st through 16th we will be celebrating our supporters who have chosen to make an investment in carya’s essential services! We want to celebrate our supporters by showcasing the impact they have made in the community.
MEG Energy is a proudly Canadian energy company supplying the world with environmentally and socially responsible energy while generating long-term value for all stakeholders.
MEG takes pride in its commitment to community investment and supports organizations in the communities where they operate to thrive. Understanding that community investment is about more than just dollars and cents, MEG Energy is proud to empower its employees to make meaningful contributions of time and continues to support the community by matching employee donations to approved charitable organizations. Donations of $20 or more are matched by MEG with no annual limit. In 2021, MEG made over 370 matches to organizations that matter most to their employees!
This year, donations matched by MEG Energy will be directed to carya’s Village Commons Community Hub. Located in Calgary’s East Village community, Village Commons is a safe space where Calgarians of all ages can come together to connect, create, and access programs and services that foster mental well-being and community.
MEG Energy has been an incredible partner to carya, and we are so grateful for their continued support! This holiday season, we hope to bring more awareness about the impact that these organizations have on our community and encourage everyone to support them in any way they can! If you would like to join carya, in supporting over 40,000 individuals this holiday season, when and where they need us most. Contact tiffanys@caryacalgary.ca to learn more.
