As a social impact agency, we are dedicated to promoting personal growth, building healthy relationships, and fostering community connections. We understand the crucial role that volunteerism plays in creating and sustaining healthy communities.
Volunteering has many benefits, not only for the communities being served but also for the volunteers themselves. It provides a sense of purpose, satisfaction, and personal fulfillment, as well as opportunities for personal and professional development and building a network of like-minded individuals.
During National Volunteer Week, carya wishes to honour the many volunteers who have contributed their time and talents to make a difference in our community. From our friendly, Warm Welcomers to our talented tax experts, Board of Directors, and everyone in between, carya is grateful for this dedicated group and all they make possible.
Another unique example of volunteerism at carya is demonstrated in our Community Development initiatives. Community members and program participants contribute their time to build community leadership and drive community action.
In 2022, carya volunteers contributed over 5000 hours!
