12 Days of carya is here; from December 1st through 16th, we will celebrate our supporters who have chosen to invest in carya’s essential services! We want to celebrate our supporters by showcasing their impact on the community.
Our corporate partners and their generous teams often wish to understand how they can make a difference for their community with a gift of time. When individuals come together to offer their time and talents, it creates a meaningful impact in our community and shapes it in a positive way.
Last month, a group from RBC PH&N Investment Counsel’s Kindness Committee volunteered their time to help bring the holiday spirit to carya and Village Commons. The whole building was excited about the arrival of the RBC volunteers! The group teamed up with some of carya’s Warm Welcomers, a group of volunteers who welcome folks to the space, intending to deck the halls, hang the lights, and decorate three Christmas Trees in the Village Commons common areas.
We want to thank everyone involved who indeed went above and beyond and brought a significant sense of holiday spirit to the space. Come by Village Commons located at 610 8 Avenue SW to take in the festivities and enjoy a hot cup of coffee or cocoa!
Through volunteer efforts, individuals and groups can give back to the communities where they live, work, and play.
